International rights to Swedish reporter Jan Wallentin's upcoming debut novel, Strindberg's Star, have been sold in 12 countries before it has even come out in Sweden.
Strindberg's Star, the debut novel of Swedish reporter Jan Wallentin is set to be a big success in Sweden - and internationally. The foreign rights in 12 countries have already been sold, and Wallentin is being compared to Dan Brown of The Da Vinci Code fame.
The plot involves the discovery of a map showing the way deep into the earth and the adventures that ensue as characters find out about the discovery. Although still in the final stages of being polished and fact-checked, the novel has already garnered a huge amount of attention.
