Medicina Danes Gets Redesign

Bonnier Business Press International's medical titles get a facelift. Slovenian Medicina danes is last out.

The Slovenian medical newspaper Medicina danes relaunched in late February with a new design. It was the final redesign for the whole family of medical papers within Bonnier Business Press International.

Medical Makeover

Starting with Dagens Medicin in Sweden, Bonnier's Medicine Today International titles are getting an update of their design.

At the beginning of May, Swedish weekly newspaper Dagens Medicin will be the first of Bonnier's Medicine Today International publications to launch a new design for all the titles in the group. "The current design was a bit old-fashioned and needed to be updated," says Mikael Nestius, editor in chief and CEO for Dagens Medicin.

Vaggan – a better life for disabled children

The Lopselis orphanage is located in Kaunas, Lithuania’s second largest city. It is run by the Vaggan Foundation, with Dagens Medicin and Vi Föräldrar as two of its main sponsors.

In Lithuania, 3,500 children are abandoned every year. Sixty percent of them are disabled. One of the most common causes is fetal alcohol syndrome, a disorder caused by drinking during pregnancy.
