Swedish Vi Föräldrar takes a page from Babytalk with a new baby cover contest.

To have your baby on the cover of  Swedish parenting magazine Vi Föräldrar is the dream of many Vi Föräldrar readers. And now they will finally have a chance: Due to strong demand, Vi Föräldrar will be launching a cover contest. The contest opened on April 19 and entries can be sent in until May 30. After that, visitors to the site will be able to vote on the photos and the five babies with the most votes will be featured in a "fashion" spread in the magazine.

MIN Announces Editorial & Design Award Winners – Bonnier Takes Home Three

Three Bonnier titles won big at the first annual MIN Editorial & Design Awards, which were announced recently at New York's Grand Hyatt

Saveur won for "Magazine Design" for its Dining in America issue. It beat out Marie Claire, House Beautiful, InStyle and Travel + Leisure. MIN noted Art Director Dave Weaver's "juxtaposed image and text, people and plates so that the design embodied the editorial mission of the issue."

Parenting launches Baby & Child Model Search

Parenting.com, the online destination for Parenting and Babytalk magazines, today announced the launch of the Parenting.com Baby & Child Model Search, a year-long program to discover Ford Models’ next little star

Parents can upload photos of their children at www.parenting.com/modelsearch for the chance to win monthly prizes from Shutterfly.com, the leading online photo service and Parenting.com Model Search sponsor. The grand prize winner will be chosen in 2011 to receive one year of representation from Ford Models.

Bonnier is well represented in the finalist field when Media Industry Newsletter announced the finalists in the Editorial & Design Awards, honoring excellence in content and design among consumer, business-to-business and specialized-information media brands. 

Parenting hits the trifecta with three nominations. Popular Science and Saveur are each finalists in a category.

Parenting Magazine and National PTA Partner

Bonnier Corp.'s Parenting Group, publisher of Parenting and Babytalk magazines, and National PTA, the country's largest child advocacy organization, have announced a strategic alliance that will connect the two organizations in the common goal of giving parents the resources they need to help children get the most out of their educations   

Parenting, which launched Parenting School Years earlier this year to help moms deal with the complex issues families face once their children start school, will work with PTA to create co-branded content in the magazine, on Parenting.com and on PTA.org that will give parents easy ways to work towards improving our nation's schools and their children's educational experiences.

Parenting School Years Increases Circulation

The five-month-old edition of Parenting magazine increases its rate base by 10%, with the highest number of paid subscribers in the parenting category in the U.S.

Parenting School Years, the five-month-old edition of Parenting magazine for moms of school-age children, will increase its circulation to 550,000 as of the February 2010 issue, a 10% increase from its launch circulation.  This is the first rate base increase for the U.S.
