Size Hero a Tough VeckoRevyn Campaign

Swedish women's magazine VeckoRevyn takes on the body-size tyranny of the fashion industry with a new campaign. Editor-in-Chief Louise Bratt explains why.

Swedish women's magazine VeckoRevyn is taking a position on an issue that the editorial team is passionate about: how women are portrayed in the media. With the campaign Size Hero, Editor-in-Chief Louise Bratt together with her team hope to put pressure on the fashion industry and media.

Bloggers Take the Stage

On Saturday October 17, 500 of Sweden’s best bloggers, along with a number of surprise celebrity guests, will gather at Café Opera in Stockholm. It’s time for the VeckoRevyn Blog Awards 2009 – without a doubt the year’s biggest event in the Swedish blog world.

The jury reviewed several hundred blogs before selecting this year's award nominees, including well-known Swedish bloggers as well as lesser-known names. The bloggers will begin a full day of events with an inspiring afternoon tea party at Café Opera in Stockholm, a blogger's fashion show and the chance to have their makeup, hair and nails done. When they return, the venue will be transformed for the glamorous awards ceremony and after-party.
