Sigurd Eriksen: I can't believe it almost over

Sigurd is looking at his final days as a GROW ambassador in Finland and takes a magazine legend out for dinner

I can't believe it almost over. I'm actually checking up on my plane ticket back home already. Well, SAS have no record of it, but I have an email saying I have bought it, so I guess I'll get back to Norway somehow. Or maybe I'll just show up at work in Helsinki Monday morning. You never know.

Sigurd Eriksen: Colorful Helsinki

Our GROW blogger Sigurd finds that there is always a naked story to tell from Finland.

Summer is starting to be a distant memory and after several remarkable weeks of nice weather here in Helsinki the fall has finally arrived. Well — I'm not so happy for the autumn, but colder days and nights means that we are getting closer to the winter and snow, and that I love. Yesterday it actually did snow, but not for long (maybe it was more like heavy, white rain). But at least the fall brings beautiful colors and crispy air.

Sigurd Eriksen: Still exploring

Sigurd finds out that it's pretty easy being a Norwegian in Helsinki

I've been in Helsinki for some time now and start to realise that people here is not much different from people back in Norway. Except from the language, it's pretty easy being a Norwegian in Helsinki. Well, the part with the language isn't a big problem either, since most Finns speak excellent English.

Greatings Bonnier colleagues. My name is Sigurd Eriksen. I'm 34 years old and I've left my beautyful girlfriend, Karina, and my two best friends, Lukas (3.5 year) and Rasmus (1.5 year) to be a part of this GROW program. I've come all the way from Oslo, Norway (yeah, I know, it's basically the same neighborhood, just 90 minutes with plane), but being a father of two small kids, and having to leave them behind in Oslo, it's a good thing it's not so far away.
