After four months of intensive work, Bonnier Publications' Scandinavian fitness titles have relaunched their websites: www.aktivtraening.dk, www.aktivtraning.se and www.aktivtrening.com (Norway).
The new websites reflect the magazine and provide a tailored online platform for the magazines' fitness-minded readers. Readers can find how-to advice for races, weight lifting and cycling. They can measure the length of their running or cycling routes. Plus videos of more than 30 training exercises, a wealth of healthy recipes and interactive tests that can tell you everything you want to know about your calorie consumption, your metabolism and your favorite sports.
"The success was instant," says Bo Mikael, head of health online at Bonnier Publications. "We had an increase in traffic of almost 300 percent in just one week. During July we'll work on making the site even better and publish more relevant content. At the end of the month we will start to make some noise about the site, among other places in the magazines and with their own newsletters."
