Ok, last week's filming of the space shuttle didn't happen because there were some technical problems and the launch was delayed. We found out about it at the last minute and had to turn back with the boat still on the trailer behind the car. So the trip to the ocean didn't take place, at least not then...
But today we just came back from a somewhat luxurious resort in Stuart, where we spent like 24 hours making a promo video, a very nice assignment. It includes documenting the hotel premises with the marina and different activities in the area: water sports, tennis and golf. For me, the highlights were filming the sunrise from the beach and a trip with speedboat. AND I took one hour off and took a swim, one of the nicest ones so far.
I certainly wish that every day in the videographer's life would look something like this. Unfortunately, it holds a lot of tasks besides making recordings by the ocean. In a couple of weeks time, it looks like I'm going off to promote a little community all by myself, by the way.
