Bonnier acquires business newsletters on emerging markets

Bonnier has acquired the news2biz newsletters published by Copenhagen-based Northroup Newsletters. The news2biz newsletters consist of five titles on the business and economies of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and China.

Bonnier will continue to publish all five newsletters and hopes to add new geographic titles to its portfolio. The aim is set for emerging economies like Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.

Bonnier, with its extensive experience in emerging markets, intends to give the news2biz newsletters all the added value that Bonnier expertise and team can offer," says Igor Rõtov, CEO of AS Äripäev, Bonnier's Estonian representative which will be engaged in daily publishing of the news2biz newsletters.

news2biz was established in 1991 with the aim of creating transparency in emerging markets by supplying independent, unbiased business intelligence to mostly Scandinavian corporate clients with business interests in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and China. The newsletters are published every second week and have subscribers in more than 15 countries. news2biz is exclusively financed by subscriptions and untamed by national or business interests.
