Bonnier Carlsen Book Tusen gånger starkare To Be a Feature Film

Christina Herrström's book Tusen gånger starkare will hit the big screen in September.

On September 24, the latest Swedish book-to-movie will have its premiere when Christina Herrström's young adult novel Tusen gånger starkare (A thousand times stronger) makes it to movie theaters around Sweden.

The book was published in 2006 by Bonnier Carlsen and received rave reviews. It was even talked about as a possible winner for the Augustpris, one of Sweden's most important literary awards. And now the book has been filmed, with a script by the author herself. The director is Peter Schildt and is produced by Saperi Film in cooperation with Sonet Film, and will be distributed by SF Film.

Christina Herrström is well known in Sweden for being the name behind some of the most popular young adult novels and TV series.
