Bonnier Corp. Titles Win Integrated Marketing Awards

Parenting, Outdoor Life and Field & Stream win awards from Min.

The U.S. magazine industry's Min Integrated Marketing Awards were announced on Sept. 15 and three Bonnier magazines were among the winners: Parenting, Outdoor Life and Field & Stream. The Integrated Marketing Awards salute the campaigns, ongoing programs and innovative people who've raised the bar on magazine marketing programs, according to Min.

Parenting won in the category "Total Integrated Program" for its 2010 JCPenney Ultimate Kid's Closet marketing. In an interview after the awards, Jennifer Evans, associate publisher of marketing for Bonnier's Parenting Group was asked about trends and top buzzwords in the industry just now: "Customization, targetability and measurable results," was her answer.

Outdoor Life won in the category "Online Event" for its Live Hunt feature (read more about it here) and together with Field & Stream in the "Retail/Merchandising Tie-in" category for their Gore-Tex Gear Corner Widget. "After never hearing about a widget three years ago, now we're winning an award for one," said Bonnier's Outdoor Group publisher Eric Zinczenko.
