Swedish magazine company Bonnier Tidskrifter today launched its international corporate website, Bonniermagazines.se. The English site has the same news on BT's titles and information for advertisers, although there is less content than on the Swedish site.
"Ever since we updated our company site, the need for an English version has been obvious," says Ulrika Saxon, CEO for Bonnier Tidskrifter. "Naturally, the English site is more compact when it comes to information. It's an adaptation based on how we think the site will be searched and used, for everyone from international advertisers to international publishers and partners. And who know - maybe even subscribers."
Dean Turcol, VP for Communications at Bonnier Corporation in the U.S., welcomes the initiative. "The new site in English is a welcome addition as Bonnier reinforces its global reach and influence," he says. "Here in the U.S., the Bonnier brand name is establishing a positive reputation and legitimacy as a leading media company. Bonniermagazines.se can only help communicate the attributes Bonnier offers to the general and endemic advertising and media communities on a global scale."
