The research task of Bonnier R&D involves gathering information and insights in order to inspire new concepts and business models. The information is collected from a vast number of sources: syndicated research reports, conferences, internal studies, and social/online media channels such as Twine, Twitter and various blogs, to name a few. Examples of research questions investigated in the past are: kids' media behavior, profitable online revenue streams, and future advertising formats.
Among other things, Bonnier R&D publishes an annual media trend report, a bi-monthly trend letter, and quarterly focus study reports. In addition, R&D aims to actively share and spread knowledge within the organization by arranging various events, seminars, and workshops.
