Advertising agency Fältman & Malmén won Bonnier Tidskrifter's Nya Uppslag ad competition with an ad for a Rubens and Van Dyke exhibition at Stockholm's Nationalmuseum. The ad was published in the Swedish food magazine Allt om Mat and features a photo of dough that Rubens would have been proud to paint. The prize includes SEK 500,000 in advertising space during 2010 in a Bonnier Tidskrifter title of the winner's choice. The 10-member jury included Swedish advertising and media executives headed by Ulrika Saxon, CEO of Bonnier Tidskrifter.
"The entries were varied this year, we saw many different styles of creativity," said Saxon about the jury's decisions. "It wasn't easy for us to choose between this year's entries, there were so many that were really good. But the jury was unanimous in choosing Fältman & Malmen as this year's first-place winner."
Nya Uppslag has been sponsored by Bonnier Tidskrifter for the past five years. The purpose is to reward the year's best advertising spread. A total of 44 entries from 25 agencies competed this year.
