Norway's Cappelen Damm has published the popular children's picture book Garmanns sommer (Garmann's Summer) by prizewinning author-illustrator Stian Hole, in a new digital version for the iPad. In the app, which costs USD 10.99, the story is read byNorwegian actress Frøydis Armand.

Stian Hole has been involved in the development of the app to ensure the high quality of the animation, sound and graphic design.

Garmanns sommer has won Hole several prizes, including the Norwegian Bragepriset in 2006 and the German Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis in 2010.
