Homeenter Wins with Chocolate Club

With 10,000 members since its launch in 2008, Homeenter's chocolate club has become a successful new market for the online club.

Consumer interest in exclusive chocolate has blossomed in recent years. So when online video, music and game club Homeenter AB started a cooperation in 2008 with Malmö Chokladfabrik - Malmö Chocolate Factory - the success came as no surprise. Today the chocolate club has nearly 10,000 members in Sweden and Denmark.

Club Choklad is a subscription service - every month, members get a packet of chocolate sent to them at home. Every package contains a specially chosen high-quality chocolate with information about it. Each month has a new chocolate theme. Extra chocolate products can be ordered from the club's homepage homepage as well.

"It's exciting to test a new business area that's in such demand as chocolate is," says Henrik Hjorth, CEO for Homeenter AB. "To be able to offer a unique themed package with high-quality chocolate with our existing partners is a lot of fun."
