Jonas Westin: Great Moves

We are done moving in to our new work place here in Winter Park. We had a busy time rewiring all the equipment and setting everything up for production. The list of productions we are set to do is filling up fast.
I'm working an intro for a TV show, 4+ promos for different magazines and are going out to shoot some footage, and more is in the pipeline...looks like the tempo is finally going up a bit towards the end of my stay here.
We got a new boss also who hopefully can raise the bar on future productions. It's been the wild west on web-produced materials here now and then. Some magazines have been shooting their own stuff on crappy camcorders, and it looks really amateurishly made. If that reflects back on our department it will make us look bad. Guess we are working on sorting that out. Let the pros handle it. :)

Last weekend we had a great Swedish Midsummer party at my friend Fredrik's house with all the Swedish food that comes with it. Pickled herring, potatoes with sour cream, eggs with Kalles Kaviar, meatballs, snaps and more snaps and a keg of beer. Matt, my co-worker, even made his own "Janssons Frestelse" and it was really really GOOD. He's now a honorary Swedish citizen.  He even enjoyed our Swedish music playlist we made on Spotify.

I'm trying to plan some good last weekend trips before the time is up. I'll probably head down to Key West again to do some serious diving and will also do one more trip to the west coast for sun and fun.

And at last congratulations to Bonnier in Sweden on the acquisition of the Swedish morning paper City. Good Job!
