Meet Johanna Fahlström

Bonnier Sales Awards finalist says selling is a part of everything we do.

When Johanna Fahlström started at Bonnier Tidskrifter in December 2008, she already had long experience working in sales and marketing. Dagens Industri, Lydeking.Stockholm, Letsbuyit.com, and mobile phone operator 3 are just a few of the companies Fahlström, 42, has worked at, in positions ranging from customer service manager to bureau chief.

"I love selling," she says. "Selling is a part of everything we do, regardless of whether we're at work or at home with our families. It consists of everything from selling your ideas and dreams to delivering your sales budget." What she loves best about her job is finding a solution that fills a customer need and generates higher sales and revenues for the customer - and for Bonnier Tidskrifter of course.

As for the nomination, she says she hopes that it was her work in motivating and inspiring her sales staff that helped her get the recognition. "It's important everyone is in top form, thinking creatively and feeling inspired, but also they need to feel supported and motivated to sell," she says.

Fahlström is naturally proud of her nomination. "I watched the Bonnier Sales Awards last year and studied the winners as they stood on the stage. I have to admit I thought to myself: 'I'll be up there next year!' So it feels amazing that now I'm a finalist."
