Micropayments for D.I.Y. Danish Website

Do-it-yourself magazine Gør Det Selv upgrades its website with thousands of helpful guides for subscribers and non-subscribers alike.

Bonnier Publications' do-it-yourself magazine Gør Det Selv has relaunched its website with a new micropayment system. While magazine subscribers can now download up to 25 step-by-step guides per week and store them in their personal profiles for free, non-subscribers can purchase the guides for DKK 20.

The updated website also has a new navigation tool that provides an overview of the entire archive of thousands of existing guides - there are 20 different patio guides alone, for example. Every three weeks the website will be updated with ten to 12 new guides.

"Subscribers now have easy access to over a thousand articles with expert guidance on how to build, repair and maintain their homes and gardens," says Allan Gabe, online editor of goerdetselv.dk. "Readers can also look forward to several new initiatives that we are working on for rest of the year, as well as for upcoming years."

Gør Det Selv has also upgraded its sites in Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Dear Mike Azzara - Please send any questions you may have to allan.gabe at bonner.dk - and I will answer them as best as I can. The launch - by the way - went extremely fine and the results are even better than we hoped for. So all in all a success. Best regards Allan Hjelm Gabe Concept Manager Bonnier Publications Online

Hello - I am researching an article about micropayments systems and I would very much like to know how this launch is progressing. Any information would be helpful.
