New Magazine for Bonnier Publications Russia

Popular Russian lifestyle magazine Women's Secrets has been acquired by Bonnier Publications Russia.

Bonnier Publications Russia announced today it has acquired the magazine Women's Secrets from Creative Media. Launched in 1997, the monthly magazine has a circulation of 130,000 and according to TNS Gallup Media, the audience for each issue is over 1 million readers, putting Women's Secrets in the leading group of popular women's magazines. 

"Women's Secrets is the only Russian magazine able to achieve such success among monthly magazines for female readers," says Natalia Chernysheva, president of Bonnier Publications Russia. "The magazine's focus is on active, independent women. More than 60 percent of the readers are working women. And this percentage is the highest compared with similar publications."

This type of audience is no stranger to Bonnier Publications, says Chernysheva. "The acquisition of Women's Secrets will be a true complement to our existing titles," she says. "Our current publications already focus on a female audience. And we are sure that this group of readers will receive the new magazine from us with a high degree of interest and enthusiasm. Besides, this monthly publication is already well known among the female audience." 

Chernysheva says that next up will be positive changes to enhance the magazine from the point of better brand recognition and improved creativity.
