Norwegian Costume Launches Beauty Magazine

Costume Skjønnhet is the newest sister for Norwegian fashion magazine Costume.

Bonnier Media in Norway launched a new magazine today: Costume Skjønnhet. The editor in chief for Costume, Vanessa Rudjord, who will be responsible for the new magazine as well, says it is a natural development for Costume.

"Our readers are as interested in beauty as in fashion, and since Costume is purely about fashion, we wanted a separate magazine about beauty and health," says Rudjord. "Costume Skjønnhet will keep readers updated on the latest makeup, hair and skincare trends."

The niche market in Norway is advancing fast at the moment, and the new launch is no surprise considering the successes so far for Costume – the magazine is Norway's No. 1 fashion title.

"Costume has had an incredible four years. And with Costume Skjønnhet we've started a new, exciting chapter," says Rudjord.

The first issue will include a look at how to be your own make-up artist, how to adjust your skincare according to your age and Spring's loveliest hairstyles, along with an interview with Sienna Miller.

"There will be plenty of juicy bits for beauty junkies like me," Rudjord promises.
