Patricia Schmid: Top 5s

This is my last blog and it is nearly time to say goodbye to Bonnier Corporation and Florida. I decided to end the blog with »Pick your 5«, although I never use this on Facebook.

The three months have passed really quickly, but they were simply inspiring. I could improve my knowledge of SEO and I hope I was also a little bit of a help for my team, too.

What I will miss most:

• The friendly and open-minded way of the people
• My new friends here - see you in Europe
• Yoga with my colleagues
• The great weather
• The beaches

What I am looking forward to:

• My family & friends
• Rye bread
• My window at my working place at arsEdition
• The public tranportation system in Europe
• My bike

The weekends were packed with exploring new places, my Top 5 are:

• The wildlife on Captiva Island
• Snorkeling in Key Largo
• Magic Kingdom
• The Dali Museum in St. Petersburg
• St. Augustine

Not only to be part of another media business but also to hear what Bonnier does in other countries brought so many new aspects and it also makes one proud to be part of this company. As a GROW ambassador, I had contact with many interesting people, not only from the U.S. but also from other countries. I believe the GROW program is a great thing to support the exchange of knowledge and simply to learn how things are being done somewhere else. Thanks for this great opportunity.

And of course I also want to thank my colleagues in the marketing department at home - Andrea Lederer and Bettina Golonka. Although I had access to all my files and worked everyday for arsEdition and the website, they had to make great efforts to keep the projects running, which I could not take care from here. Without them I wouldn't have been able to have this great experience.
