Welcome to Bonnier Media University
Bonnier Media University is Bonnier's corporate university, founded in 1990, taking the lead in developing, attracting and inspiring key people and talent within the entire Bonnier group.
Bonnier Key People Commitment
Bonnier Media University now focuses its efforts on the Bonnier Key People Commitment. Some 500 key people at different levels within Bonnier will participate yearly in activities within the framework of this long-term commitment to provide personal development and inspiration.
Inspirational Activities
- GRID is a unique annual conference providing inspiration and fresh ideas. Each year 250 specially invited Bonnier employees from around the world meet and listen to exciting speakers.
- GROW is a global exchange program for some 50 employees per year who get to work in another part of Bonnier in another country.
Management Development
Bonnier Media University has developed three extensive programs for management development that deal with better understanding global changes and how to lead effectively under the new conditions these changes entail.
- Bonnier Duke Program is a program for strategy, leadership and experience exchange that helps managers at the top levels within Bonnier act in the changing media landscape. The program is led by DukeCE, ranked eight years in a row by the Financial Times as the world's best business school for programs tailored for companies. Content includes business development, talent recruitment and entrepreneurship.
- Bonnier Key People Program is a leadership program for the top management of tomorrow. Participants will work on developing what it takes to be a successful manager in the future media landscape. The program focuses on leadership, self insight and strategy.
- Bonnier Connect is a different kind of partnership program at the local level, where participants will work on coaching with partners in a similar fashion to working with a mentor. The program will encourage cooperation and networking, challenging participants to examine their business in a new and exciting way.
Bonnier Media University also organizes the popular management program Ny Som Chef (New Managers) for Scandinavian participants. Since the start of the program in 2002, some 400 managers have taken part. Many have gone far in their careers as managers, both within and outside Bonnier.
Since 2010, Bonnier Media University has led business process workshops at Bonnier Corporation in the U.S. The program has been well-received and successful in generating new business ideas and will be further developed during 2011.
Participants in the Bonnier Key People Commitment, with the exception of GROW and New Managers, are chosen in consultation with top management at the company level. If you are interested in any of the programs, contact your immediate supervisor.
Tailored Programs and Events
Bonnier Media University also annually arranges the prestigious Swedish Grand Journalism Prize and Bonnier Sales Awards events.
