Bonnier Media in Norway has announced that Trond Juliussen will become the new CEO of the company, succeeding Niels Jespersen. Juliussen most recently has served as advertising director.

Bonnier Media has experienced a significant expansion in both the number of magazine titles and sales since 2004.  Among its numerous publications are Tara, Norway's No. 1 women's magazine and the leading fashion magazine, Costume.

"This is an opportunity I could not turn down, and one of the media industry's most exciting jobs," says Juliussen. "Bonnier Media is a fantastic company with extremely talented staff and I look forward to leading the organization in further strengthening our brands in both print and digital. I have high ambitions for the company, we will continue the good work both editorially and commercially, while we will create new and profitable business models. Running one of the companies in the Nordic region's largest media group is a privilege."

The outgoing CEO, Niels Jespersen, will now take on other tasks in the Bonnier Group, and takes over as chairman of the board for Bonnier Media.

Juliussen will start in his new position on Nov. 1.
